Silver

Silver has been part of TRABELSI from the very beginning, initially appearing through accessories and jewellery as an intuitive extension of the textile collections and often serving as the starting point for a wider collection. Today, silver has become a central element of the studio’s practice.

Unlike clothing, jewellery is not dependent on the changing dimensions of the body. It carries an inherent sense of permanence and can remain with us throughout different stages of life. We understand jewellery as something intimate and enduring: an object that accompanies, adorns, holds memory, empowers the person wearing it, and becomes part of a personal history.
Jewellery is not approached as a seasonal accessory, but as an object to be lived with, remembered and passed on.

Textile

TRABELSI approaches clothing outside the conventional rhythm of the fashion industry. Garments and textile objects are developed independently of seasons, fixed collection calendars or the pressure of constant renewal.

Print development, pattern cutting and tailoring form the foundation of the studio’s textile practice. Each collection builds upon what came before, with new pieces designed to complement and expand an existing wardrobe rather than replace it.
Previous collections remain available to order upon request, alongside bespoke pieces developed in dialogue with the wearer. Samples from current collections may also be borrowed for selected projects, productions and editorial purposes.

We prefer to produce garments in response to real demand rather than accumulate unsold stock. Smaller editions and limited releases are occasionally available through the website and selected retailers.

The textile practice extends beyond clothing and the everyday act of dressing. It is also an ongoing investigation into fabric as a cultural, spatial and narrative medium, and will continue to develop through future objects, installations and collaborative projects.
